Equal Opportunities – A critical look at stereotypes

Amongst other things, attractive Employers are distinguished by the fact that they offer equal opportunities to men and women. But this is the often lacking, especially in the SME sector. Why that is and how companies can take countermeasures was examined through  the EU-funded project SWOPS.

Project coordinators in Germany was the Berlin Club of Women’s Network Business and Professional Women (BPW) with the rationalization and innovation centre of the German Economy (RKW) Berlin. Haufe online spoke with Cornelia F. Kramer, first chair of the BPW Club Berlin e.V.

With “SWOPS” against gender inequality in the job (German)

Many women fail with their careers to unconscious prejudices in the head of HR managers and other decision makers. This will now be changed by the Berlin Chapter of the business women network BPW together with SMEs. The project is called “Structural change-oriented personnel strategy,” short SWOPS, – first results are already there.

International Employer Branding Project SWOPS (German)

With the EU-funded project SWOPS, the Business and Professional Women’s Foundation Club Berlin e.V. leads the way towards more equality between men and women in the working world. The aim is to develop an innovative HR tool (Human Resources) for the sustainable transformation of corporate cultures.

End of October 2015, the four international project partners from France, Germany, Sweden and Austria met in Swedish Motala to share first results.
